Renovations within a Tight Budget

By Brian Maxwell | Posted March 17, 2015

Throughout the years there has been an increase of utilizing existing buildings. Renovating a building over new construction can save time and money when opening a new clinic. The project scope when doing renovation work can vary. They can be large renovations from demolition of existing walls to a small finish refurbishment.

Total Renovation

A total Interior demolition will allow you to utilize existing exterior walls while removing all interior walls. Columns and structural beams must remain in place to maintain structural integrity of the building. Removing all of the walls will provide flexibility in the design as you are able to place walls and exam rooms within the program requirements. Forecasting clinic growth is something most forget to plan for. If you are able to plan for the addition of another exam room, physician or flexible space, this will allow your office to grow while remaining at your current location for years to come.
